Happy Tuesday Morning!

Happy Tuesday everyone and remember it is only 3 more days until the weekend!

I want to wish all the teachers a happy new school year and I hope that your day and year go smoothly and that you like all of your students...and and and....you know just make the most of it. I am looking forward to seeing all those little brown, green, hazel and an occasional set of blue eyes starring back at me! It ought to be an interesting day for sure.

This is a quick type by for me as I need to get on my elipitcal before I hit the shower and off by 6....but to all who are having surgery and whatever is going on in your life....I wish you the best today.

Candi...please take care of yourself....you need to heal and get rid of your fever! That goes for you too Janel....rest and heal!

Kim aka Madame....you do the same....stop pushing yourself so hard. Everything will heal and the swelling will diminish when it is time. I had to have the doctor at a certain point give me water pills to reduce some of the swelling. You might ask your doc about it.

Monica P, Helen, Kevin, Kristin...and everyone else who participated in the run at Disneyland this weekend...you guys rock...and Kevin.....you are surely a friend to push Helen like you did. That kind of nudging is what friends are abou****ching other**** their personal bests allowing them not to be quitters...but to be winners!

Jodi.... I wish you were pain free and I do sympathize with you!

LizR.....can hardly wait to see you this weekend...you know I love ya and think you are such an inspiration.

Steve and LuLu....well love you guys too!

Jeni....thinking about you sweatpea and wish I lived closer to you to give you a big hug!

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  We did, it's just it seemed to go so fast!  Yesterday Dennis and I went and looked at travel trailers and 5th wheels.  That was fun.  My Gosh they are getting so elaborate!   Now that's camping in style!  lol

Back to work this morning......I'm sure it will be a very busy day.  I have physical therapy on my wrist and a doc's appt. today.  My wrist is feeling much, much better, so that is A GREAT THING!

Good Morning janine and Cali,

Well I don't know how fresh I am but I cheated my sleep.  Jordyn went down about 9 and woke up at midnight.  I let her sleep on me the rest of the night just so I could get some hours in.  What a wiggle worm that child it.  At least I have no kiddos until tomorrow.  If I drift off in admin meetings so what.  It should be an interesting day since we were given no days this year to come early and work on our rooms.  We are suppose to get 3 hours today but I don't know if it is going to happen.  We are suppose to tattle to the union if it doesn't.  LAUSD just makes me laugh.  Well I better get going, I prepped nothing yesterday so I could have all of my time with Jordyn.

All of us teachers rock.  Welcome to a new school year.

Wow... back to work day already huh? Well, that's OK 'cause D and I had a terrific three day weekend and there are only four work days this week. Looking forward to Saturday morning and seeing you all at the IE Coffee!

2 more weeks of this class and then I am taking a 10 week break....school at 51 is tough!
It's time for my biannual trip to Chicago. Rossana and I leave on Friday for a week. She will be sightseeing while I work... ...but the evenings in Chicago will be a blast.

We are also going to Indy to visit with friends from another OH board...so that shuld also be fun.

You hit the nail on the head with your comment about school!  After I graduated high school in 1982, I am pretty sure 1/2 of my brain cells went away.  Here I am at 44 taking legal type classes and it is HARD!!!  I always thought I was a smart person, but am having to rethink that position lately

You and Rossana have a super time in Chicago!  Look for Oprah and say hello for me :-)

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

I just wanted to give a special Shout Out to ALL YOU TEACHERS out there.  Speaking as a parent of a 15 year old teenager.  YOU ROCK!!!!!  I only have one and some of you have numerous classrooms full of them. Have a great year 

This past 3 day weekend was a blur. it went by way to fast.  I spent most of it "back to school" shopping.  Teenage girls are WAY to picky.  I was exhausted.

Today is my 6 week follow up with Dr. Chin.  I haven't lost any weight over the weekend.  Not sure why, but I am not going to stress

I am still having a hard time getting all my fluids in.  Does anyone else have any problems with this? 

Any ways, I have to go.  I am taking a flat iron to my hair and as long as my hair has gotten, it will take me 45mins.  so I wish everyone a great Tuesday

hi i just wanted to tell you that i'm 5 weeks out of surgery and i have a very hard time getting all my fluids down... but they just say sip sip sip .... i drink coffee i think that's my problem...i bought alot of different flavors of crysal light but i can't even drink a 16oz fuild down that's so sweet... but i hope we can get more fluids down ... oh ya and i haven't lost anymore weight either,,, do you have that problem too?
